As Amazon revealed plans for the largest Prime Day event ever, a number of major retailers are following suit to rival Amazon's annual sale. Retail giants Walmart and Target both announced Monday their plans to host sales events overlapping with Amazon Prime Day.

Target's Circle Week runs from from July 6 to July 12. You can expect back-to-school items and college essentials like classroom products, dorm décor, and on-trend apparel, but you'll also find tech products on sale.

A few days after Amazon announced its Prime Day sale, major retailers such as Target and Walmart revealed weeklong sales of their own.
