The Indian government has clearly stated that those who killed innocent people in Pahalgam and their masters will be punished for their crimes and that too soon.

On April 22, 2025, following a deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that killed at least 26 tourists, Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Srinagar to pay tribute to the victims.
