Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man who was wrongly deported to El Salvador in March, has been indicted and brought back to the U.S.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man mistakenly deported to El Salvador, is back in the United States after being indicted in Tennessee on two federal charges involving migrant smuggling, Attorney General Pam Bondi said Friday.

The judge is weighing whether the mistakenly deported man who was returned to the U.S. should remain in custody pending trial.
