Cracker Barrel swung to a profit in the recent quarter and logged higher sales, buoyed in part by higher menu prices. It posted a profit of $12.6 million, or 56 cents a share, for its quarter ended May 2, compared with a loss of $9.2 million, or 41 cents a share, in last year's comparable quarter.
