PITTSBURGH — Honoring the team’s roots, the Pittsburgh Steelers revealed new throwback uniforms Monday. In a release, Steelers officials said the uniform is inspired by what players in the original 1933 roster wore, 92 years ago.

The Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday unveiled new throwback uniforms ahead of the team's arrival at training camp this week. Harkening all the way back to 1933, when the team first came into existence, the new throwback is inspired by the uniforms the very first Steelers players wore on the field.
