A long-simmering beef among the regulars in Washington Square Park ended in violence on Wednesday afternoon when a man was fatally stabbed by a homeless attacker, according to police sources.

A homeless man with a history of carrying large knives was arrested Tuesday for the fatal stabbing of another homeless man in an encampment in Washington Square Park last month, according to cops.
