A crash on the upper level of the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge resulted in one person being taken to the hospital with injuries.

Since its opening in the 1960s, the Verrazzano Bridge has been the only direct connection from Brooklyn to Staten Island, making for a one long commute for Brooklynites and Staten Islanders.
