A 33-year-old Eugene man was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Tuesday for stabbing a woman, attempting to steal her car at the Valley River Center.

The Eugene DMV will close its longtime location on West 10th Place, with its last day on Thursday, and move to a new temporary spot in the Valley River Center mall starting the first week of January.

Location: 345 Goodpasture Island Road, Eugene. Goodpasture Island Road is dotted with automotive dealerships, service centers and repair shops leading up to its connection to Valley River Drive.
