It’s an effort spearheaded by the U.S. Marshals Service, which partnered with state and local law enforcement to go after people they believe are dangerous in 10 cities across the U.S.

U.S. Marshals have arrested 1,500 fugitives across Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, Indianapolis, Memphis, New York City, New Orleans, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

The U.S. Marshals Service arrested more than 100 fugitives hiding out in the Milwaukee area as part of "Operation North Star II," aimed at cracking down on violent crime.
