Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, and other officials officially opened the new Furley Elementary School and Recreation Center.

More than a dozen spots around Bloomington-Normal will offer lunch, with five offering breakfast. Kids 18 and under eat for free.

Mayor Scott, who previously represented the district as a city council member, highlighted the important partnership between the school and the nearby Furley Recreation Center.
