Presently titled the “Future Lion King Themed Area,” this part of Disney Adventure World will feature a first-of-its-kind signature attraction themed to the beloved 90s movie.

The 1994 flick has spawned two sequels —"The Lion King II: Simba's Pride" in 1998 and "The Lion King 1 1/2" in 2004. Both of these spinoffs are available to stream on Disney+.

A prospective adaptation of The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride would need to embrace the changes to canon introduced by Mufasa: The Lion King.
