Levy County Sheriff’s deputies worked with parks and recreation officials to decide which boat ramps are safe enough to re-open.

Thursday morning, county leaders, alongside the Seminole County Fire Department and Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, reopened the Lake Monroe Wayside Park.

It applies to 51 miles of the Suwannee from the County Road 340 bridge to one mile below the Fowler's Bluff Boat Ramp. FWC officers will patrol to enforce the zone.
