The satellite radio network SiriusXM said Wednesday that it has signed Smith to produce and appear on two new shows. One is a daily sports talk show that will appear on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio, the channel created by talk radio personality Chris Russo.

Stephen A. Smith is returning to radio with two new SiriusXM shows covering sports, politics, and pop culture starting this September.

Beadle, who currently co-hosts “Beadle & Decker” with Cody Decker on SiriusXM, says she was “blindsided” when she learned one of Smith’s new shows will take over her show’s current slot. Beadle tells Front Office Sports she learned of the change by reading a story in the Hollywood Reporter.
