Retail store chain Five Below's newest Ocean County location at Stafford Park Shopping Center is now open for business. The 400,000-square-foot shopping center is owned and managed by Walters Group.

Four Junes ago, then-Mayor Michael Ciaravino closed the 50-year-old pool at Stafford and the similar one at Dunham Park. He cited a deficit said to be $1.5 million.

Stafford Park is not the only in-demand neighborhood in the area. Originally, Alfred Mannarino decided he would not move back to southern Ocean County, where he grew up.
