Yep, Fast 8 – or The Fate of the Furious over in the US – has now officially passed the $1 billion mark in the overseas box office. Yes, that's excluding American sales.

But its box office success didn't stop there and it has continued to top the US box office week in week out since its release – so hitting the $1 billion milestone was really just a matter of when.
