A former AEW star has revealed that he requested his release multiple times before he was eventually let go from the company.

Mike Santana is no longer part of AEW, but the wrestler made clear he wanted out multiple times before eventually being granted his release.

Santana would sign with TNA in April 2024. He is set to challenge for the TNA World Title in a triple threat match against Trick Williams and Joe Hendry at TNA Slammiversary.
