A New York man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a string of package thefts in Fairfax County.

Fairfax County Police officers from the Mount Vernon Police District have arrested a New York man in connection with a recent string of package thefts.

Fairfax County detectives are looking for a person they say stole packages off porches before riding away on a scooter last week.

The Blacksburg Police Department is looking for the public's help in identifying a person who they said is involved in the theft of a package.
