The upcoming RK Ashram-Janakpuri West extension of Magenta Line will also have a station at Azadpur, making it the 2nd triple interchnage facility after Kashmere Gate.

Currently, the work on RK Ashram Marg – Janakpuri West metro corridor is underway. Total length of the route is 29.26 km. There will be 21 stations in between the RK Ashram Marg and Janakpuri West.

Krishna Park Extension is the only station on this 2.5-km underground section. However, the construction of the entire Janakpuri West to RK Ashram is likely to be completed by 2026.
