Commissioner Tyrone Oliver announced the promotion of Charles Mims, warden at Wilcox State Prison, to warden at Smith State Prison this week.

A deputy warden at Nebraska’s youth prison will soon chair the state’s Board of Parole, Gov. Jim Pillen’s office announced Monday.
