Collings said the new House districts for Portland cut his current district in half and he couldn’t support the new shape. The House still voted overwhelmingly to approve the new map, 110-10.

Each map has a district in the West, North and Northeast, Southeast, and East Portland. But the population requirement for the districts means each one must have around 163,000 residents.
