Among the many Year of the Snake celebrations this weekend are the 11th Annual Port of Los Angeles Lunar New Year Festival in San Pedro and the Santa Ana Tet Festival.

Air 4 flew over Lake Angeles where an 8-year-old was attacked by a cougar while camping Saturday, July 29. Park staff said the child's mother screamed at the animal to scare it away.
