The person responsible for putting a Trump 2020 sticker on an Asheville bear has come forward and apologized for their actions, according to the Help Asheville Bears organizations.

The sticker ban stemmed from a write-in campaign that caused problems during the May primary at a polling place in Mount Joy Township. "It gums up the machines," Phiel said.
