Escambia County commissioners are considering partnering with Pensacola to create a master plan that will decide the future of the Bay Center.

Pensacola Mayor D.C. Reeves said the city would pay for a comprehensive development plan for the aging center and surrounding area to make best investment.

What could the Pensacola Bay Center become? Doug Thornton, president of North American venues for ASM Global, discussed the options during a presentation to the board Thursday morning.

The four concepts range from a $22.3 million update to add fresh seating and concessions, to a $104 million expansion creating two new buildings.
