John Goodman has been cast as Paul Bunyan in Exodus Film Group's upcoming CG-animated family adventure "Bunyan & Babe" opposite comedian Eddie Griffin.

Paul Bunyan didn't need a union to overcome problems. Bunyan was exploited as a hero of free enterprise. While Disney did a cartoon of Paul, he had his own radio series, more books poured forth.

"We've had Paul Bunyan for 11 years," says Paul Bunyan Land co-owner Lois Moon. She's a teaching assistant who co-owns the park with her brother, ... we're not competing with Disney by any means.

“Paul Bunyan: The Invention of an American Legend,” by the cartoonist Noah Van Sciver, puts the spotlight on Laughead, who also wrote and illustrated the pamphlet.
