The Chicago Blackhawks had a ton of success in the shootout throughout the years and that's because the two most successful players in the shootout in NHL history both played a very long time during the team at the same time.

Patrick Kane’s NHL record-setting shootout goal Tuesday lifted the Red Wings to a 5-4 victory over the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena. It was Kane’s 53rd career shootout goal, moving him past former Chicago teammate Jonathan Toews for the most in league history.

Berggren broke a 2-2 tie with the Wings' second power-play goal of the night. Berggren gathered Andrew Copp's faceoff victory and beat goaltender Joey Daccord from the slot at 10:41 of the second period, Berggren's ninth goal.
