Heidi Fairgrieve has resigned as president of the St. Charles Unit District 303 school board but will remain on the board for the remainder of her term, which expires in 2025.

School Superintendent Bryan O’Hara will look for a replacement to fill the unexpired term on the board. The board’s next regular meeting is set for 5 p.m. Jan. 23 at the high school media center.

The meeting will start with a tax budget hearing at 4 p.m., then an organizational meeting to appoint a new school board president and vice president will start at 4:30.

Campenni has been on the school board since 2019 and was most recently reelected in 2023 for a two-year term. Peter Butera was elected as vice president, taking over for Kirby Kunkle.
