Microsoft Office 95 users will not be able to take the upgrade route to Office XP and will instead have to buy the new software suite outright.

The full version of Office XP will be priced at £519, while upgrades from Office 97 and 2000 will cost £269. Microsoft says that no upgrade will be available for users of 95.
