More specifically, the Lake Coeur d’Alene Scenic Byway was voted as Idaho’s best drive for fall foliage in 2023, according to a survey of 3,000 drivers conducted by Gunther VW Coconut Creek.

Linwood Laughy said the Highway 12 corridor is "a very unique and special area." It's designated as the Northwest Passage Scenic Byway for the entire 174 miles from Lewiston to Lolo Pass.
