Nigerian police said Tuesday they arrested more than 200 people at a suspected gay wedding the day before, in one of the biggest mass arrests in recent years targeting the country’s LGBTQ community.

In August, police in Nigeria’s Delta State raided a hotel where they said a gay wedding was taking place, arresting hundreds of people and detaining 67 after initial investigations.
