It’s officially summer in Coney Island, and that means the peak of the Brooklyn Cyclones season is approaching.

The annual Memorial Day ceremony at Memorial Park Cemetery is Monday. Floral Haven hosts its annual Memorial Day Weekend Ceremony and Avenue of Flags for the 53rd year.

The memorial also will dedicate a bronze plaque to the 2nd Infantry Division. Guests are invited to bring a lawn chair, as seating is limited. Guided tours start at 1 p.m.
