Recent polls released found that while a plurality of Americans still support Trump’s overall approach to immigration, a majority believe that ICE has gone too far in its deportation efforts.

The CNN poll, conducted by SSRS and released on Wednesday, found that 61% of Americans oppose the GOP’s multitrillion-dollar spending bill that Trump signed into law earlier this month. Another 39% of Americans said they supported the bill, including 78% of Republicans and Republican-leaners.
