LINCOLN — A 19-year veteran of the Nebraska State Patrol has been promoted to lead the troop area based in Omaha.

The Nebraska State Patrol has welcomed a new four-legged member to the team. NSP’s newest K9, Scooter, is the only active police service dog in Nebraska trained in electronics storage detection.
