T he Houston Texans are starting their 2025 training camp with a significant injury report. Joe Mixon, the star running back, has been placed on the non-football injury (NFI) list due to an ankle injury, joined by cornerback Alijah Huzzie.

The Texans also placed running back Dameon Pierce on the physically unable to perform list. With Mixon and Pierce on the shelf to start camp, this will give newly-signed Nick Chubb and 2025 fourth-round pick Woody Marks plenty of opportunities to showcase their skills.
