According to the police, the deceased, identified as Suleman (50), a resident of Vamanjoor, had arranged the marriage of the accused, Mustafa (30), with a woman named Shaheenaz eight months ago.

As Suleman collapsed, Mustafa allegedly stabbed Siyab on the left side of his chest and Riyab on his right forearm, according to the police. Neighbours rushed the injured trio to the nearest hospital.
