Mike Piazza would never exist today. He would have to be created by the Hollywood machine that once embraced him. He was taken in the 62nd round of the 1988 baseball draft.

On Friday, there's a replica jersey giveaway and on Sunday there's a Piazza bobblehead. Oh, and the Mets are wearing these lids in Piazza's honor: Those hats will be for sale, but only at Citi Field.
