A 38-year-old North Miami Beach man has been arrested on a child abuse charge after school staff noticed bruising on his son’s legs and reported the incident to police, authorities said.
The shooting was targeted, the sheriff's office says. It has not identified the deputy but said he was 39 years old and was with PBSO for three years.
An off-duty Palm Beach County corrections deputy was shot and killed Monday evening, according to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office.
