Liberty Hardware is recalling about 374,000 decorative metal wall plates because the company says the plates can dislodge and short circuit the outlet, posing a risk of electrical shock or fire.
The announcement comes as the result of the latest Series C investment of $45 million, led by GV (formerly Google Ventures), as well as BMW i Ventures and Lowe’s Ventures.
Along with GV, formerly known as Google Ventures, and Lowe’s Ventures, the investment from BMW iVentures brings Burlington, Mass.-based Desktop Metal’s Series C funding to $45 million.
