Activision has announced that Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, the melee-themed multiplayer first-person action game, will be released for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on December 1.

Competitors will re-create weapons from historical periods ranging from Japanese katanas to medieval broadswords to ancient throwing blades.
