A major alarm fire in downtown Los Angeles Thursday damaged two buildings. The fire was reported about 1 p.m. on East Winston Street and firefighters began fire attack with an offensive posture, according to KABC. Firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions and as they worsened, they were pulled out for a defensive attack.
Anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles cost taxpayers $32 million for emergency services, cleanup and property damage. Over 500 arrests were made and multiple officers were injured.
