Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga is making progress from his sprained right ankle but won't be ready to return immediately after the All-Star break.

Before his injury, Kuminga was on the best run of his professional career. He averaged 20.5 points and six rebounds in the 14 games leading up to the ankle sprain. In that stretch, he surpassed the 30-point mark three times, including in a win over Houston without Steph Curry and Draymond Green.

Anthony Slater: Jonathan Kuminga will remain out through the All-Star break, per Warriors. Advancing to some limited on court work. Team hopes to incorporate him into practice out of the break as he gets closer to a return from bad ankle sprain.
