Wooden died just weeks before his 100th birthday in 2010, but his legacy — including his belief in “The Pyramid of Success” — continues to be felt in South Bend.

A beloved banner with a lot of history has been taken off the wall at the old YMCA on Northside Boulevard.

On that white fabric, you could read and study a detailed triangular graphic that spells out “The Pyramid of Success” by the late, legendary UCLA basketball coach John Wooden.
