FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — As storms sweep across northeast Indiana, the severe weather has left many customers across northeast Indiana without power Wednesday evening.
More than 15 hours after the storm, Indiana Michigan Power crews were still working to restore power to customers in Muncie, Winchester and other local communities.
Inskeep and experts agreed it’s unlikely Indiana will run out of power; instead, Inskeep said he believes consumers will end up paying the bulk of the cost for supplying data centers power.
