On Tuesday, the federal requirement to revalidate enrollment status to the Illinois Medicaid program was reinstated after being temporarily discontinued during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services approved Illinois’ application for such a waiver July 2. It extends through June 30, 2029, and may be extended beyond that.
