Earthquake today: Taiwan was struck by an earthquake of magnitude-5.9 on Wednesday about 71 kilometers (44.1 miles) south of Hualien City.
Just within a span of 24 hours, a third earthquake magnitude 3.8 on the Richter Scale jolted Pakistan on Sunday, a statement by the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.
A 3.6 magnitude earthquake struck near Redding, California, early Friday morning. The quake, centered west of downtown Redding, was felt by residents but caused no reported damage.
