UPTON, Maine (WMTW) - The U.S. Geological Survey said a small earthquake happened shortly after midnight in a Maine town near the New Hampshire border.

The magnitude 2.1 earthquake was centered around Umbagog Lake near Upton, Maine, according to the USGS. That area is located just across the lake from the town of Errol.
