Collier Boulevard Boating Park (951 boat ramp) is nearing completion and set to reopen before fall after major renovations.

Channel 9 watched as a sheriff’s dive team pulled a small car from the lake Friday morning.

Renovations include replacing the seawall, boat ramp structures, timber pilings. The parking lot, which was expanded in 2010, will be repaved.
