A $200 million development featuring a Nebraska Medicine health center, 300 dwellings, retail and entertainment is to rise in Gretna.

On May 31, Gretna submitted an application for a Community Development Block Grant from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, to conduct a planning study of its downtown.
