Malone spearheaded Tech’s efforts to select a word mark for the athletic department – the first it has ever created – and a shade of gold that it will use for uniforms and apparel.

After the season, 10 authenticated gold logo patches from each player will be used to create Topps trading cards. Each gold logo emblem will be removed from the jersey and inserted into Topps cards.
