The work of a renowned Ballinskelligs writer is showcased in a new Irish language book ‘Glór ón Sceilg’ which will be launched at 6pm in Cahersiveen library on Thursday (May 8).
Born on May 31st, 1906 in Ballinskelligs, Co Kerry, he was the youngest of the seven children of John Kirby, fisherman and small farmer, and his wife, Mary (née Cremin).
