Fast forward to this week, and Vroom announced it’s closing up shop. The Better Business Bureau indicates the Texas-based company has logged nearly 6,000 complaints over three years.

Besides crappy cars, Vroom allegedly overpromised and under-delivered. The FTC says the company claimed vehicles would be delivered in 14 days or less, but couldn’t always make that happen.
